Mobility Box Troop Seat System

The Mobility Box Troop Seat System (MBTSS) is a drop-in replacement for legacy Boeing CH-47 helicopter seats and is compatible with all CH-47 platforms. The MBTSS was developed in conjunction with Boeing for the Canadian CH147 program. The MBTSS provides seating for three soldiers and enclosed storage for up to 140 pounds of equipment.

Key features include:

• Removed and installed in cabin easily
• Uses CH-47’s existing two-point restraint system
• Fully qualified to MIL-STD-810F environmental and vibration requirements
• Tested to crash requirements for three fully combat-equipped occupants
• Cushioned seat bottom and adjustable back rest
