Job Title: Design Engineer (Level Based on experience), Full-Time

Reports To: Engineering Manager

Salary: Based on Level

 

Job Summary

The Design Engineer is responsible for the analysis and development of designs for an aerospace system or subsystem or its support hardware within parameters established by design specifications.

Essential Functions:

  • Interfaces with related technologies and groups to prepare and develop recommendations.
  • Participates in trade-off studies of designs and solutions to potential or actual design and fabrication problems, providing necessary data on assigned aspects of specific studies.
  • Participates in design reviews and coordinate resultant changes within immediate department and with Purchasing, Manufacturing and subcontractors to assure scheduled completion of designs and end products.
  • Oversee test conduct and evaluate test data.
  • Evaluates mechanical systems and products by designing and conducting research programs; applying principles of mechanics, thermodynamics materials.
  • Confirms system and product capabilities by designing feasibility and testing methods; testing properties.
  • Develops mechanical products by studying customer requirements; researching and testing manufacturing and assembly methods and materials.
  • Assures system and product quality by designing testing methods; testing finished- product and system capabilities; confirming fabrication, assembly, and installation processes.
  • Provides engineering information by answering questions and requests.
  • Maintains product and company reputation by complying with government regulations.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
  • Determine needs of the user.
  • Build prototypes.

Qualifications/Minimum requirements

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • BSME Required.
  • Solid Modeling Required, SolidWorks Preferred.
  • FEA Experience Preferred
  • Analysis, Design, Presenting Technical Information, Conceptual, and Quality Focus Skills Required.
  • 3+ years Aerospace or Defense Industry Experience Preferred.

Job Title: Programmer Analyst, Full-Time

Reports To: IT Supervisor

Salary: Based on Experience

 

Job Summary

The Programmer Analyst is responsible for providing first/second level support for all incoming help desk issues as well as providing desk-side support for 50+ users. Responsibilities also include, but not limited to, server support and maintenance.

Essential Functions

  • SQL Server (Query, Stored Procedures, Functions, Triggers, Views).
  • Crystal Report 2016.
  • Web Development using Visual Studio 2010+, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, KnockoutJS, JSON, XML, C#, ASP.NET Form, ASP.NET MVC.
  • Oversight of the design, development and documentation of program specifications related to enhancement of the organizations core information systems and processes.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and adjust to changing priorities.
  • Ability to quickly gain new skills and knowledge when faced with new challenges.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to details.
  • User training experience.
  • Perform other IT Departmental duties as needed.

Qualifications/Minimum requirements

  • U.S. Citizenship Required.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak in English proficiently.
  • Undergraduate degree in related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in desk-side, hardware, and software support.
  • Systems Documentation experience preferred.
  • Experience with Infor Visual ERP System or similar ERP Manufacturing Software.
  • Proficient in Office 365 Products (Including Sharepoint).
  • Experience with Windows 7+ in a domain environment.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Job Title: Mechanical Inspector (Level Based On Experience)

Reports To: Quality Supervisor

 

Job Summary

The Mechanical Inspector is responsible for maintaining quality standards by approving incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products and recording quality results. They are responsible for checking the raw materials and parts that make up the finished goods and assemblies. The Mechanical Inspector works within a team of other Quality Control professionals.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Inspects incoming materials by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; rejecting and returning unacceptable materials.
  • Inspects in-process production by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; communicating required adjustments to production supervisor.
  • Inspects finished products by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; returning products for re-work; confirming re-work.
  • Uses a variety of methods to ensure that the product manufactured in-house, or purchased meets print specifications, MIL-SPECS quality standards and AS9100 specifications.
  • Documents inspection results by completing reports and logs; summarizing re-work and waste; inputting data into quality database.
  • Makes mathematical calculations to measure parts, angles, and a series of holes and compares the measurements to the blueprints.
  • Verifies that purchased products from suppliers conform to company quality standards.
  • Maintains a daily log on all items inspected and approves first piece manufactured for production.
  • Checks various jobs in progress to ensure that machine settings have not changed or that the operator has not made any errors.
  • Ensures all activities conform to all policies, procedures and instructions provided within the AS9100 Quality Manual.
  • Keeps measurement equipment operating by following operating instructions; calling for repairs.
  • Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations.

Qualifications/Minimum requirements

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Must be fluent in English. Excellent verbal and written English skills.
  • GED, High School degree; technical and vocational training preferred.
  • Minimum of 2-5 years of on-the-job training under the supervision of a Lead Inspector.
  • Capable of reading and interpreting complex drawings and blueprints.
  • Basic knowledge of mechanical systems, critical thinking skills, and proficiency with standard testing tools, micrometers, protractors, venires, gauges, magnifying glasses, optical comparators, and dial gauges and CMM programs.
  • Proficient in the use of all measuring equipment including, standard testing tools, micrometers, protractors, Vernier, gauges, optical comparators, dial gauges, and CMM.
  • Proficient in use of shop math, critical thinking, mechanical systems.
  • Prior experience with an aerospace defense manufacturer preferred.

Job Title: Mechanical Assembler

Reports To: Production Manager

 

Job Summary

The Mechanical Assembler builds small and large assemblies and kits using manual and automated tools performing a variety of operations while working from blue prints, manufacturing specifications, procedures, and work instructions.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Performs necessary assembly functions working from operation sheets, verbal instructions, samples and blueprints.
  • Selects correct parts, materials, tools, assemblies, standards, hardware, to support the job.
  • Uses a variety of hand tools including basic measuring instruments, air tools and riveting tools.
  • Remove and/or replace installed components and any related parts.

Qualifications/Minimum requirements

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Must be fluent in English. Excellent verbal and written English skills.
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints, drawings, schematics, engineering dispositions and instructions.
  • Technical training, apprenticeship, with 3-5 years’ experience in general/precision assembly techniques preferred.
  • General measuring and inspection experience.
  • Able to stand, walk, bend and lift 50 lbs.
  • Prior experience with a military/aerospace manufacturer is helpful.
  • Ability to work with strict deadlines.

Job Title: Machine Operator “C”

Reports To: Production Manager

 

Job Summary

The Machine Operator “C” will operate various machines on the assembly line for production from blue prints, manufacturing specifications, procedures, and work instructions.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Feed raw material or parts to semi-automated machines.
  • Maintain activity logs.
  • Assist in the accountability of tools for the manufacturing shop floor.
  • Perform additional shop floor duties as required.
  • Perform assigned tasks within deadlines.

Qualifications/Minimum requirements

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Must be fluent in English. Proficient in verbal and written English skills.
  • Preferably one-year experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of CNC machines and machined parts preferred.
  • Use of measuring tools preffered (able to read Vernier caliper and micrometer).
  • Able to stand, walk, bend and lift 50 lbs.
  • Prior experience with a military/aerospace manufacturer is helpful.
